Easter buns

INGREDIENTS:

-1 and a half kg of flour

-2 little cups of oil

-6 eggs

- ½ tablet of baker’s yeast

-500 grams of sugar

- Lemon zest

-1/2 litre of milk


METHOD:

-Put ½ kg of flour and 2 eggs into a bowl.

-Add the yeast with warm milk and knead everything thoroughly.

- Let the dough rest until it doubles its volume.

-Add the rest of the ingredients and knead them well again.

- Let the dough rest again until it doubles its volume.

- Make round or long buns and place them into a non-sticking baking sheet.

- Let the dough rest once more so that it can ferment.

- Shine the buns with a beaten egg and a brush.

- Put sugar on the top and bake them at 170ºC for about 20 minutes.
